How to Change Interest Inventory Choices (Student)

Students can update their interest inventory choices by following the steps below. These choices help to determine which books are recommended to the students.

1. After you log in as a student, click on your name in the top right corner; then, click Interests.



2. If the Interests page looks like this example, for each category, click the face icon that is closest to how you feel about that category. Click Save at the top or bottom of the page when you are done.



If the page looks like the example below instead, click the circle that is closest to how you feel about each category. The last circle on the right shows the most interest; the first circle on the left shows the least interest. Click Save at the top or bottom of the page when you are done.



Making any changes to the interest inventory will change the kind of books that get recommended.

At the top of the page, you can also choose the language(s) that you prefer to read books in: English and/or Español.



Administrators and Faculty can also change their interests in this way if they want interests to influence the recommendations they see in the library.
