Groups in Planner Trial

Who can do this with default capabilities?

District Level Administrators, District Staff, School Level Administrators, School Staff, Teachers

Using Planner Trial, you can choose skills to teach to whole classes or groups. Groups can be created in Planner Trial, or they come from one of these sources:

In the first stage of selecting skills, you can choose    Manage Groups—this will take you to the Manage Groups page for the subject you've chosen (Reading or Math), where you can set up groups that can be selected in Planner Trial.

Do you work with students from multiple classes for instructional purposes?

Planning groups can only consist of students from the same Renaissance Place class. If you do not have your own class, but instead work with students from multiple classes, you may try asking your administrator to create a new class for you in Renaissance Place, with you assigned as the teacher and with all the students you work with enrolled in it. Then within that class, you will be able to set up your instructional groups. Note: If your school or district uses Renaissance Data Integration services (RDI), setting up a new class may not be an option.
