Student Capacity
Each of the Renaissance products that you have registered at your school has a student capacity. The student capacity is the number of students who can use the product during the subscription period or during the school year. Capacity is used when a student performs a task in the product, such as taking an Accelerated Reader quiz or a Star test.
Students may be enrolled in more than one school and may use the same product in each school. These students will be counted toward the capacity limit for each school where they use a product (for example, if they take an Accelerated Reader quiz or a Star test).
To view your subscriptions and capacity, follow the steps below.
Who can do this with default capabilities?
District Administrators, District Staff, School Administrators, School Staff, Teachers
- On the Home page, select Product Administration.

- Select View Subscriptions and Capacity. The page that opens next shows your subscription and capacity information when available.
What you see on the Subscriptions and Capacity page
If you purchase additional student capacity from Renaissance, or when you renew your subscription, Renaissance will automatically update the software once the order has been processed. You can purchase additional capacity on the Renaissance website.
