Clearing the Responder Offline MathFacts History

Renaissance Responders and NEO 2 will no longer be supported after future software updates.

Things to Remember About Clearing the History

  • You cannot get the results back after clearing the history. We strongly recommend that you print the history before clearing it. You can also send the history to Renaissance Place, which will clear the history but preserve the information in Renaissance Place.
  • If students are sharing Responders, clear the history after each session.
  • After you clear the history, levels that students have already worked on will no longer be checked when the students select activities.

How to Clear the History

  1. What you do depends on the Responder model and firmware you are using. Use the arrow keys to highlight an option; then, press Select:
    • If the menu includes only one MathFacts in a Flash option, select MathFacts in a Flash, then Offline, and then History.
    • If the menu includes two MathFacts options, select MathFacts History.
  2. Use the arrow keys to highlight Clear.
  3. Press Select or Enter.
  4. The Responder will ask if you are sure that you want to clear the MathFacts History. The Responder also notifies you if the history has not yet been sent to Renaissance Place or printed. You cannot get the results of your work back once you clear the history.
  5. If you want to clear the history, press yes (True).

If you do not want to clear the history, press no (False).

    Press Select or Enter.

After you clear the history, you'll see the message "MathFacts History Cleared". Next, the Responder will show the menu.
