Editing the General Preference
Who can do this with default capabilities?
District Administrators, District Staff, School Administrators, School Staff, Teacher
The General preference is the only user preference in MathFacts in a Flash. All other preferences affect an entire class or school. Teachers, staff, and administrators can change this preference setting for their own use.
The General Preference allows you to specify how many rows you want to see at one time in a vertical list while you are working with the program. The other items in the list will be visible if you select Next >> or << Previous. The default setting is 20 rows.
The General Preference does not affect (1) lists of students or (2) lists with information that extends horizontally. Most of the MathFacts in a Flash lists are one of these two types.
To change the preference settings, follow these steps:
On the Home page, select MathFacts in a Flash, then Preferences as shown below.
If necessary, use the School and Class drop-down lists (above the preferences tables) to select your school and class.
Under the User Preferences, select General.
Select the Rows field, delete the existing number, and type the maximum number of rows you want to see in vertical lists on the MathFacts in a Flash pages.
To return to the default setting (20 rows), select Default.
