# Printing Practice Materials (Flash cards, Worksheets, and Charts)

Who can do this with default capabilities?

MathFacts in a Flash offers flash cards, worksheets, and charts you can print and reproduce for your students to use in your classroom or to send home with them for additional practice.

#### Descriptions of Practice Materials

 Name Description Level Practice Worksheet This is a worksheet with math problems from a level you choose. You also choose the number of problems (10, 20, 30, or 40) and if the problems are presented in a vertical or horizontal format. The worksheet can include a number line at the bottom of the page. Every time you generate a worksheet, the problems will be presented in a random order. Level Practice Flash Cards These are flash cards for a level you choose. Students can cut the flash cards apart and use them to practice and learn math facts. Every time you generate the flash cards, the problems will be presented in a random order. Count by Fours Worksheet This worksheet helps students practice and learn to count by fours from 4 through 100. Count by Threes Worksheet This worksheet helps students practice and learn to count by threes from 3 through 99. Even Numbers Worksheet This worksheet helps students practice and learn even numbers from 2 through 100. Odd Numbers Worksheet This worksheet helps students practice and learn odd numbers from 1 through 99. Random Numbers Worksheet This chart lists numbers from 1 through 100 with random numbers missing. It helps your students learn number sequences from 1 to 100. Every time you generate this worksheet, it will have different numbers missing. Addition to 10 Chart This chart helps students practice and learn addition facts from 0 + 10 through 10 + 10. Hundred Chart This chart lists all the numbers from 1 through 100. It makes it easy for students to learn number sequences from 1 to 100. Multiplication to 12 Chart This chart helps students practice and learn multiplication facts from 0 x 0 through 12 x 12.

#### How to Print Practice Materials

1. On the Home page, select MathFacts in a Flash, then Assignment Book as shown below.
2. The Assignment Book page opens. Use the drop-down lists to choose the desired school and class.

1. Use the School drop-down list to choose your school. You do not need to choose a class.
2. On the left side of the page, under Activities, select Print Practice.
3. The Print Practice page opens and lists the flash cards, worksheets, and charts you can print.
4. To open most of the practice materials, select the item's name. When it opens, you can print the item.

To print the Level Practice Worksheet:

1. In the Level Practice Worksheet row, select the Level drop-down list and choose the level you want to print.
2. Note: Unless the levels listed below have been added to the class (see Adding or Removing Levels), you will not see them listed in the drop-down list.

• Level 53: Squares 15, 20
• Level 54: Squares Review
• Level 55: Review: +, -, ×, /, squares
3. Select the second drop-down list and choose a format (horizontal or vertical) and the number of problems (10, 20, 30 or 40).
4. When you select vertical, the number of columns on the printed page is determined by the level chosen. When you select horizontal, the printed worksheet is always arranged using four columns.

Notes: Some levels can only display horizontally. See Levels That Use Only Horizontal.

5. By default, the Include a Number Line at the bottom of the worksheet box is checked. If you do not want to include a number line, remove the check mark.
6. The following levels will not include a number line (but the number line will appear on the worksheet for the final review level, 71):

• Level 56: Compare Fractions
• Level 57: Order Fractions
• Level 58: Add Fractions
• Level 59: Subtract Fractions
• Level 60: Identify Equivalent Fractions
• Level 61: Simplify Fractions
• Level 62: Fraction Review
• Level 63: Compare Decimals
• Level 64: Order Decimals
7. To generate and preview the worksheet, select Level Practice Worksheet.
8. The worksheet generates. It opens in your PDF reader in the browser window or a separate window.
9. Review the document. If the worksheet is what you want, you print it using the print option that is available in your PDF reader.

If the worksheet is not what you want, select Return to Print Practice at the top of the page and start again.

To print the Level Practice Flash Cards:

1. In the flash cards row, select the Level drop-down list and choose the level you want to print.

If the cards are not what you want, select Return to Print Practice and start again.
