Adding or Removing Levels

Who can do this with default capabilities?

All of the math facts levels were included with the software. MathFacts in a Flash has 71 total levels, and by default 56 of these levels are selected (available) for the class. You can add or remove levels for your class by following the steps below. (Removed levels can be added back later.)

You cannot remove a level if any of your students are currently working on it (the level would show the Working symbol for the students). If you remove a level, all student work on the level is lost, as well as any changes you have made to the level's mastery time.

    1. On the Home page, select MathFacts in a Flash, then Assignment Book as shown below.
    2. The Assignment Book page opens. Use the drop-down lists to choose the desired school and class.

  1. On the left side of the page, under Manage Levels, select Add/Remove.
  2. On the Add/Remove Level page, all of the levels are listed.
  3. Next to each level, a symbol shows the status of the student's work on the level. Hover your mouse over the symbol to see what it means. You cannot remove a level with the Working status.

    To add specific levels, check the box next to those levels. To remove a level, remove the check mark from the box.

    To add all of the levels, check the Select box in the column heading.

    If the list of levels longer than the limit set in the General Preference, select Next >> and << Previous to move through the list.

  4. Select Save.

The Benchmarks Set for Mastery Table shows the benchmark levels set for each grade at your school and the target date. For more information, see Editing the Benchmarks Preference.
