Viewing the School Date and Time Restrictions Preferences

The School Date and Time Restrictions preferences include the following: Date Restrictions, Time Restrictions, Weekend Restrictions, and Monitor Override. School and district administrators can change the preference, but all users can view the settings as described in this topic.

Who can do this with standard capabilities?

District Administrators, District Staff, School Administrators, School Staff, Teachers

See below for links to descriptions of each preference.

  1. On the Home page, if you see Accelerated Reader, click it, then click Preferences.

    2. If you have the Accelerated Reader 360 Suite, select Independent Reading, then Preferences.

  2. Click Date and Time Restrictions in the School Preferences section on the Preferences page.

  3. If necessary, choose the school you want to work with from the School drop-down list on the View Date and Time Restriction Preferences page.
  4. The page shows the name of each preference, a brief description, and the current settings.

    5. When you're finished viewing the settings, use one of the links along the left side of the page to return to the Preferences page or to go directly to one of the other preference pages.
