Reprinting a Student's Vocabulary Practice TOPS Report

Who can do this with standard capabilities?

District Administrators, School Administrators, Teachers

  1. On the Home page, if you see Accelerated Reader, click it, then click Record Books and Goals.

If you have the Accelerated Reader 360 Suite, select Independent Reading, then Record Books and Goals.

If necessary, choose the school and class from the drop-down lists. Choose My Classes instead of a school if you want only the Accelerated Reader RP classes you are assigned to as a teacher to be in the class list, regardless of the school.

  2. Click Vocabulary Practice Quizzes in the list of Class Record Books.
  3. Click the name of the student for whom you want to reprint a Vocabulary Practice TOPS Report on the View Vocabulary Practice Quizzes Record Book page.
  4. The View Student Vocabulary Practice Records by Quiz page lists the quizzes that the student has taken. If you are viewing the View Student Vocabulary Practice Records by Title page, click Show by Quiz under Actions along the left side of the page.
  5. You can only reprint a Vocabulary Practice TOPS Report for an actual quiz a student has taken. Because vocabulary words from one title might appear on several different quizzes, TOPS Reports only exist for quizzes, not for titles.

  6. Scroll through the list of quizzes. If the list is long, it will be split into multiple pages; click Next >> or << Previous to move through it.

You can also search by quiz number or quiz title for the record you want. Type the quiz number in the Student quiz search field on the left side of the page. Then, click Go. If you're searching by title, type all or part of the title and click Go. The program returns all the student's Vocabulary Practice Quiz records that were taken through the end of the active school year that match your search criteria. For example, if you typed "am" in the field, your search results may include quiz records for Amber Brown Goes Fourth and Bambi since both titles contain the "am" letter combination. To return to the full list of quiz records, click Show All.

  7. Click TOPS in the row for the quiz record you want.
  8. The program generates the report. When the report is ready, it opens in the Adobe Reader or another PDF reader in another browser window.
  9. When you've finished viewing the report, close the window it's displayed in.
