Reprinting a Student's Other Reading TOPS Report

Who can do this with standard capabilities?

District Administrators, School Administrators, Teachers

  1. On the Home page, if you see Accelerated Reader, click it, then click Record Books and Goals.

If you have the Accelerated Reader 360 Suite, select Independent Reading, then Record Books and Goals.

If necessary, choose the school and class from the drop-down lists. Choose My Classes instead of a school if you want only the Accelerated Reader RP classes you are assigned to as a teacher to be in the class list, regardless of the school.

  2. Click Other Reading Quizzes.
  3. Click the name of the student for whom you want to reprint an Other Reading TOPS Report on the View Other Reading Quizzes Record Book page.
  4. The View Student Other Reading Quiz Records page lists the quizzes that the student has taken.
  5. By default, quizzes for all series are shown. To narrow the list, choose a series from the Series drop-down list.

Scroll through the list of quizzes. If the list is long, it will be split into multiple pages; click Next >> or << Previous to move through the list.

You can also search by quiz number or quiz title for the record you want. Type the quiz number in the Student quiz search field on the left side of the page. Then, click Go. If you're searching by title, type all or part of the title and click Go. The program returns all the student's Other Reading Quiz records that were taken through the end of the active school year that match your search criteria. For example, if you typed "am" in the field, your search results may include quiz records for Amber Brown Goes Fourth and Bambi since both titles contain the "am" letter combination. To return to the full list of quiz records, click Show All.

  6. Click TOPS in the row for the record you want.
  7. The Reprint TOPS Select Language page opens. Click an option to print the report in English or Spanish. Then, click Next >.
  8. The program generates the report. When the report is ready, it opens in Adobe Reader or another PDF reader in another browser window.
  9. When you've finished viewing the report, close the browser window that it's displayed in.
