Recorded Voice Preference

You can use the Recorded Voice preference to specify what default choice students will see when they choose a quiz with Recorded Voice. You have three or four choices (depending on your version of the software:

• On: All. With this choice, the student would automatically get the Recorded Voice Quiz unless he or she chooses the option not to do so.
• On: Read To or With. With this choice, the student would automatically get the Recorded Voice Quiz on books that were Read To or Read With the student unless he or she chooses the option not to do so. This option will only work if you have the TWI Monitoring Preference enabled.
• Off: All. With this choice, the student would not automatically get the Recorded Voice Quiz unless he or she chooses the option to do so.
• Do Not Allow. With this choice, the student is not allowed to use Recorded Voice on any quizzes. In this case, the student would not be asked whether or not to use Recorded Voice..

The Recorded Voice Preference is part of the Quiz Settings under Individual Student Preferences on the Preferences page.

The settings in the Recorded Voice preference apply only if quizzes with Recorded Voice are available on your site.
