Other Reading Passing Percent Preference
You can use the Other Reading Passing Percent Preference to set the minimum percentage a student must score to pass an Other Reading Quiz.
The default percentage is 60% on quizzes with 10 or fewer questions, and 70% on quizzes with more than 10 questions.
The Other Reading Passing Percent preference is part of the group of Classroom Student Quizzing preferences.
To view or change the Other Reading Passing Percent preference, follow these steps:

On the Home page, if you see Accelerated Reader, click it, then click Preferences.
If you have the Accelerated Reader 360 Suite, select Independent Reading, then Preferences.
- Click Student Quizzing in the Classroom Preferences section of the Preferences page.
- If necessary, choose a school and class from the drop-down lists on the View Classroom Student Quizzing Preferences page. If you scroll down, you can see the current setting of the Other Reading Passing Percent preference.
If you are a school administrator or district administrator, you will also have an Edit Student Quizzing link at the top of the page. If you want to change the Other Reading Passing Percent preference, select the link.
If you scroll down, you can then change the Other Reading Passing Percent preference for the selected class. If you change this setting or other settings on the page, click Save to save your changes or Cancel to leave the page without saving.
