Deleting Reading Practice Goals for a Student
You can delete an individual student's Reading Practice goals for points earned and average book level for any marking period.
The steps below describe how to delete goals for one student for any marking period.
Who can do this with standard capabilities?
District Administrators, School Administrators, Teachers
On the Home page, if you see Accelerated Reader, click it, then click Record Books and Goals.
If you have the Accelerated Reader 360 Suite, select Independent Reading, then Record Books and Goals.
If necessary, select your school or class or both from the drop-down lists. Click My Classes instead of a school if you want to see only the classes you're assigned to as a teacher.
Click Reading Practice Goals in the list of Class Record Books on the Record Books and Goals page.
Click the name of the student whose Reading Practice goals you want to delete.
The View Student Reading Practice Goals page opens and lists the goals that have been set for this student for the marking periods assigned to this class in the current school year. Click Delete in the row for the goals that you want to delete.
Three of the goals for the student in that marking period will be deleted when you follow these steps. If you want to delete only one or two goals for a student, follow the steps for editing goals for the class with Star Reading or without Star Reading.
Click OK if you are sure you want to delete the student's goals. Click Cancel if you do not want to delete the goals.
