Viewing Examples of Problems for Objectives in your Assignment Book
Follow these steps to view a sample problem for an objective in your Assignment Book.
Who can do this with default capabilities?
District Administrators, School Administrators, Teachers
Select the green Accelerated Math tile (shown below) on the Home page; then, select Assignment Book.
The Assignment Book lists the students who are in one class. The class name is shown above the list of students. If you have access to more than one Accelerated Math school, use the School drop-down list to choose the school for which you want to view a class Assignment Book. If you have more than one class, and you want to select a different class, click the Class drop-down list and select the class name. If the objective list is being used by a specific group, select that group from the Group drop-down list.
Click Manage Objectives on the left side of the page.
On the Manage Objectives page, the objectives from your Assignment Book will be listed. Scroll down to find the objective in the list. To search for specific objectives, click , enter key terms, and click Search. The list will be limited to the objectives that matched your search; to see the full list again, click Show All.
Click to see the standards; click it again to hide the standards. Objectives in bold text are related to standards.
Click . If you see the icon, click it to see a worked example, which shows the steps required to solve a sample problem and the answer. A new window will appear with one or more examples of problems from that objective.
If you are viewing a sample problem, you can print the example(s) as you would any web page. When you have finished reading the example(s), close the window.
If you are viewing a worked example and you want to save it or print it, click Print or Save. The worked example will appear in another tab or window for printing; use the controls in your PDF reader to save or print it. If you have Adobe Reader, use the Adobe Reader buttons to print or save it; in Adobe Reader version X and XI, you may not see the buttons until you move the mouse over the bottom center of the document. If you are using Preview on a Macintosh computer, right-click in the example window and choose Print Frame from the window that appears. Close the window when you've finished.
