Changing the Online Resources Preference

Using the Online Resources preference, you can decide whether the students in your class will be able to see instructional videos and peer help in the software. If these resources are available, students may see them when they click Problem Help while working on an assignment or when they click the Resources tab.

Peer help shows the first names and last initials of other students who are working on (or have worked on) the student's objectives; it does not show the status of the work for those students.

Who can do this with default capabilities?

District Administrators, School Administrators, Teachers

District and school staff cannot change the settings. Follow these steps to set the preference:

  1. Select the green Accelerated Math tile (shown below) on the Home page; then, select Preferences.

    If you have access to more than one school, use the School drop-down list above the list of class preferences to choose a school. If you have more than one class, click the Class drop-down list and select a class.

  2. Click Online Resources in the list of Accelerated Math preferences.
  3. Check the box or remove the check mark as needed for each resource; if the box is checked, students will see the resource if it is available for their objective. (If you click Default, the boxes will be checked.)
  4. Click Save to save your changes (or Cancel to leave the page without saving changes).
