Marking Objectives Related to Specific Standards

Follow the steps below to mark the objectives that are related to specific standards. When you do this, the objectives will appear in boldface type wherever they are listed for your students or class Assignment Books. (You cannot mark Extended Response objectives.) When you first install the software, the standards for your state are marked automatically.

Who can do this with default capabilities?

District Administrators, District Staff, School Administrators, School Staff, Teachers

List owners can mark objectives in their lists. School administrators can mark objectives in any list in the school. District administrators can mark objectives for any list.

  1. Select the green Accelerated Math tile (shown below) on the Home page; then, select Assignment Book.

    The Assignment Book lists the students who are in one class. The class name is shown above the list of students. If you have access to more than one Accelerated Math school, use the School drop-down list to choose the school for which you want to view a class Assignment Book. If you have more than one class, and you want to select a different class, click the Class drop-down list and select the class name. If the objective list is being used by a specific group, select that group from the Group drop-down list.

    Select the green Accelerated Math tile (shown below) on the Home page; then, select Libraries.

    The Libraries page will list the libraries that are available for one school. If you have access to more than one school, and you want to choose a different school, click the School drop-down list and select that school.

  2. Click Manage Objectives on the left side of the page. The Manage Objectives page will appear next.
  3. If you came from the Libraries page, click the Objective List drop-down menu and choose the list in which you want to mark objectives. If you came from the Assignment Book, you can use the Group drop-down list to choose a different group or the class; this determines the objective list that you are working with.
  4. Click Objective Standards on the Manage Objectives page.
  5. The Objective Standards page shows you the list for which you are marking objective standards. This page also lists the standards agencies that are related to your objectives. Check the box next to each standard that you want to mark.
  6. When you have finished, click Done. You will return to the Manage Objectives page.
