Copying an Objective List
Follow the steps below to copy an objective list. Any user of Accelerated Math can copy an objective list starting from the Libraries page. This method is preferred because if you copy a list starting from the Assignment Book or Extended Response page, the copy of the list will be assigned to the selected class or group.
Note: This procedure makes a copy of the list. If you want to use the same list for more than one class, you can copy the settings instead. For more information, click here.
Who can do this with default capabilities?
District Administrators, District Staff, School Administrators, School Staff, Teachers
Select the green Accelerated Math tile (shown below) on the Home page; then, select Libraries.
The Libraries page will list the libraries that are available for one school. If you have access to more than one school, use the School drop-down list to choose a school.
Click Manage Objectives on the left side of the page.
Click Assign/Copy Existing List on the Manage Objectives page.
The Assign/Copy Objective List page will appear next. If you have both Standard and Extended Response lists, this page will ask you to choose the list type. Click the type of list you want to copy: Standard (for Assignment Books) or Extended Response.
Next, click the type of list you'd like to copy: Library Lists, Shared Lists, or My List. Then, click the drop-down list and choose the objective list you want to copy. (If you want to see the objectives in the list first, click View.)
Library lists are automatically created for each library; they include all objectives from the library in the default order, and they cannot be changed. Shared lists are created by administrators and shared with teachers. My Lists are the private lists you have created, which are not available to others.
In the Class options, you can choose whether to assign the copy of the list to a class. Click one of the options. If you choose Class, click the drop-down list and choose the class that should use the copy of the list.
In the List Options, click Make a copy of the list. Then, click in the blank provided and type a name for the copy. If you are an administrator, decide whether you want to share the list with others, and click one of the options.
To save your list selection, click Save. You will return to the Manage Objectives page.
